Work or play, the countdown to the Oscars was a schedule so packed with campaigning for red-carpet placement that it would've wiped out even the most gung-ho of presidential contenders.
Saturday, Feb. 28
9 a.m.: Kelly Lynch steps out of the Tracie Martyn bungalow set up at the Avalon Hotel, where the New York aesthetician has been seeing the likes of Liv Tyler, Renee Zellweger, Diane von Furstenberg and Madonna (twice) this week. "This woman has made me 10 years younger! I can't get enough of her," Lynch enthuses. Martyn devotee Susan Sarandon shows up a bit later for her session, among a handful scheduled before the skin specialist and her partner, Marius Morarius, head over for a P.A. at Barneys New York.
